Dutch investment firm Theta Capital Management has closed a $175 million fund-of-funds aimed at providing institutional investors with exposure to early-stage blockchain startups. Theta Blockchain Ventures IV will allocate capital to established crypto venture firms, continuing its strategy of backing industry leaders like Coinfund, Polychain Capital, and Castle Island Ventures.

The Netherlands-based firm, which shifted its focus to digital assets in 2018, now manages approximately $1.2 billion in cryptocurrency-related assets. This latest fundraising underscores growing institutional appetite for structured crypto investment vehicles despite market volatility.
